This wood cabin is a such a tranquil place to sit and watch the birds go about their daily routines. There are some dead branches the birds can sit on. There are two viewing windows with benches to sit on looking out onto the water. Two people can sit on a bench and look out the viewing window.
Distance: A short 100m walk down a dirt footpath and another 60m along a wooden boardwalk.

Directions:
If you are travelling from Sedgefield take the Swartvlei turnoff and follow this road for 2.6km and take the turnoff into Rondevlei. Follow this road for 1.1km and turn left at the Rondevlei SANParks office. The hide parking is another 220m down this road.
